Rangely District Hospital is raising the standard of local healthcare with the addition of the new Olympus EVIS EXERA X1 190 Series gastroscopes and colonoscopes, becoming the first hospital on Colorado's Western Slope to utilize this advanced endoscopic technology.

Made possible entirely through grant funding, this investment strengthens the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic and preventive care close to home. The Olympus 190 Series features high-definition imaging and Narrow Band Imaging™ (NBI™), giving physicians enhanced visualization during procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGDs). This advanced technology helps clinicians identify abnormalities with greater clarity and precision, supporting earlier detection and better patient outcomes.

Already, physicians are seeing the benefits. The enhanced image quality allows for more detailed examinations, helping ensure patients receive the highest level of care without the need to travel outside the region.
