Rangely District Hospital is excited to offer an upcoming Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program designed to help individuals gain the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. This program is ideal for recent graduates, career changers, aspiring nurses, and anyone interested in providing compassionate care to others. 

Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory training, and real-world clinical experience, students will learn the foundational skills required to support patients and healthcare teams in a variety of settings. Participants will gain practical experience in patient care, communication, safety procedures, and essential nursing assistant responsibilities while learning from experienced healthcare professionals. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion and be eligible to take the Colorado Board of Nursing CNA certification examination. 

Classes begin on November 3, 2026, and will meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through December 8, 2026. Clinical training will take place on December 9 and 10, 2026, providing students with valuable hands-on patient care experience in a healthcare setting. All instruction and clinical training will be conducted at Rangely District Hospital, allowing participants to learn in a supportive and professional environment close to home.
